Part 1 Ethical Implications
This video will explain the ethical implications when implementing and integrating iPads into the classroom. According to my research the cost of iPads and or Edu. Apps for the iPad can be an issue. Not all districts can afford them which only causes a larger gap to happen between SES school districts. Cheating and plagiarism are another issue that teachers need to be aware of when using iPads in the classroom. Cyberbullying and internet safety are always a concern when using technology in the classroom. Teachers need to monitor students when using iPads and taught what it means to be a digital citizen.

This video gives an overview of the Evolution of the iPad. Apple computers have been in the classroom since 1986 and have always been the leader in educational software. The iPad was introduced in 2010 and was highly praised for its ease of use. By 2011 school districts across the country were beginning to provide students with iPads. Since it's introduction the iPad has grow by leaps and bounds. There are over 33,000 different educational apps for the iPad. iPads changed the face of the tablet market and continue to lead the way in mobile devices being used in the classroom.

The last part of my case study is on the implications of the iPad in the classroom environment. This video explains the many different benefits on using iPads in the classroom. The benefits range from lighter backpacks for students, to individualized learning opportunities. iPads also promote collaborative learning experiences. Students also have the opportunity to utilize the many different creative and productive apps that apple provides. There are also many educational apps as well as virtual labs that students can use in their educational journey. iPads allow students to become more engaged in the lessons being taught helping them to grasp concepts at a higher level.
When implementing iPads in the classroom there are some do's and don'ts one should follow. My infographic does a good job of breaking down some of these suggestions for a school to follow. When done correctly iPads can greatly benefit both teachers and students in the classroom, but if teachers are not trained then it can become more headache then it it worth. Throughout this case study I found a great many reasons to utilize iPads in the classroom and in my dream class I would have one for each of my students.
